11th-place outing in Nippy 50 opener at Maquoketa Speedway
Kicking off his Easter weekend of racing, Daniel Adam headed to Maquoketa (Iowa.) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Nippy 50 weekend.
Stopping the clock fifth-quickest in his group, Adam finished runner-up in his heat race before pulling the No. 5 in the redraw. Running inside the Top-10 for most of the $10,000-to-win main event, Daniel slipped to 11th when the checkered flag flew.
Looking for another strong run on Saturday, Daniel struggled in his heat race before storming through the field in the 50-lap finale to finish 15th in the final running order.
